I am offering in-person and online cello lessons to all ages and levels. I have a ton of my unique exercises and books to share to get you started. All you need is a cello! First online lesson is free. Just let me know your name and an email to set you your first lesson. Cello should be fun and now it is!

Online Lessons over Zoom

I’m offering one-on-one lessons over zoom. To set up online lessons, just send me your email address. Then within zoom, make sure to keep “original sound on” for the best sound for music making. Also, check your speaker and microphone before each zoom session. Make sure your microphone is picking up you and your cello correctly. Also, I’d love to see from the top of your head to the bridge of the cello in the frame of the video. Prices are: $30 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes and $50 for 60 minute lessons.

In-person Lessons (NYC area)

I bring the lessons to you! My car and cello have a lot of miles on it, and we are quite proud. All we need is one stand, two chairs and I’ll bring the lesson. In our in-person one-on-one lessons, we are able to play together and hear how the cello is supposed to sound in real time. These lessons happen in the students’ home, so no excuse you forgot your music! Prices are: $65 for 30 minutes, $75 for 45 minutes and $85 for 60 minute lessons.

In-person Lessons (Annapolis, MD and surrounding areas)

Once a week, I drive myself, cello and small dog Kodi down from NYC to my hometown, Annapolis, MD. I’m very proud to bring my education and experience back to where it all started. In our in-person one-on-one lessons, we are able to play together and hear how the cello is supposed to sound in real time. Students in Annapolis participate in performances with MEGA and CYSO as well as their school and our own in-studio recitals. Space is limited so inquire about details. Prices are: $50 for 30 minutes, $60 for 45 minutes and $70 for 60 minute lessons.

I’m very excited to get started teaching with Outschool.com. With outschool, I am able to connect young cellists from all over the world to share their talents, ideas, trials and successes together in one class. I encourage all young cellists to join the cello studio class to play for each other and share strategies for playing their cello pieces. This is also a great way to sit back and listen to future cellists from around the world working on their pieces. I can only imagine the possibilities! Price is $5 for a 55 minute studio class.
